Mr. Uzumeri is a founding partner of Searchlight Capital Partners, L.P., and is jointly responsible for overseeing the firm’s activities with the two other founding partners. Prior to co-founding Searchlight in 2010, Mr. Uzumeri was the head of Private Equity for the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. Mr. Uzumeri serves on the boards of Mitel Networks and the Sick Kids Hospital Foundation. Mr. Uzumeri graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science degree in Honours Industrial Engineering and received a Master of Science degree in Finance from the London Business School.
